Terms of Service
Effective August 3, 2026
Barrow Pay ("we", "us") is software that helps venue operators collect rent and track vendor compliance, and helps vendors pay and stay current. By creating an account or using a Barrow Pay link, you agree to these terms.
What Barrow Pay is
Operators use Barrow Pay to invoice vendors, collect payments, and track required documents. Vendors use it to pay operators, upload documents, and manage autopay. When we send an invoice, reminder, or document request, we do it on the operator's behalf.
What Barrow Pay is not
We are not a bank, money transmitter, or party to the agreement between an operator and a vendor. Payments are processed by Stripe; funds move directly from the payer to the operator's Stripe account. Disputes about rent, spots, terms, or refunds are between the operator and the vendor — we surface the records, but the deal is theirs.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in links private.
- One person or business per account; roles (operator, vendor) can share one account.
Payments and fees
- Payments (including ACH bank debits) are executed by Stripe under its own terms. By connecting a bank account you authorize the debits you approve in the product, including autopay if you enable it.
- Barrow Pay may charge a platform fee on processed payments; the operator sees fees before enabling billing.
- ACH debits can fail or be returned after they appear to succeed. A payment isn't final until settled.
Documents and compliance
Operators define what documents they require; vendors choose what to upload and which organizations may see it. Barrow Pay tracks stated expiry dates and sends reminders, but we don't guarantee any document is genuine, adequate, or compliant with law — verification remains the operator's responsibility.
Acceptable use
Don't use Barrow Pay to break the law, move money for anything other than the venue relationship it manages, upload malicious files, or probe or disrupt the service.
Termination
You can stop using Barrow Pay anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users. On request we'll export your data in a portable format.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or amounts beyond the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the product evolves and note the new effective date here. Material changes get an email heads-up.
