How Barrow Pay works
Barrow Pay collects what vendors owe by autopay and keeps permits and insurance current, for the operators who run venues and the vendors who sell at them. Truck parks, markets, food halls, shared kitchens, pop-ups and one-off events. Pick your side:
I run a venue or market
Set up your organization, invite vendors, collect rent and booth fees, review documents, and know who's covered this Saturday.
I sell at a venue
Accept your invite, finish your checklist, connect your bank, and pay automatically, all from your phone.
Quick answers
- Is my bank information safe? Bank connections are handled entirely by Stripe, the payment processor behind millions of businesses. Barrow Pay never sees or stores your bank credentials or account numbers.
- What does it cost? Operators pay one flat monthly price, sized to how many vendors they carry, and the exact price is shown in the app before anything is charged. Vendor payments carry only Stripe's standard bank-debit processing; Barrow Pay takes nothing out of them, and vendors never pay Barrow Pay anything.
- Do vendors need an app or a password? No. Vendors get a secure link that opens their portal on any phone. A free account is optional and adds one login for every venue they sell at.
- Can vendors pick which days they come? Yes, at venues that turn it on. Vendors ask for the days they want, the operator approves up to the spots available, and the month's bill follows from what was approved. Flat monthly rates stay the default everywhere else.
- Does it handle one-off events? Yes. A one-time event is a venue type: dated, billed once, charged a few days ahead, and filed away afterwards. Vendors who already sell with you re-upload nothing.
- Who do I talk to when something's weird? Reply to any Barrow Pay email or write billing@barrowpay.com. A person reads it.
